In case you haven't heard, Sephora's Beauty Insider sale is back! Rouge members get to shop now — in stores and online — until April 21, 2015. The popular shades and products sell out quickly, however, so the sooner you load up and check out, the better! Below are some recommendations to help you navigate through Sephora's massive inventory and whittle down your wish list. Discount code and much more after the jump!
|Interestingly enough, no banners for the sale are up. No publicized details regarding the sale. Check your email!|
I separated my recommendations by category to make things a bit more organized. Let's start with my essentials because I'm always stocked up on these products and hoard them (just in case). You can't go wrong with beautyblender sponges for seamless foundation application, a tinted lip balm with a touch of sunscreen, and of course, my favorite makeup wipes and luxury cleansing oil. Also included are a few of my essentials for clear, balanced and radiant skin.
Now for tools. I have always been a huge proponent for investing in quality tools. They will cut down on your prep time and ensure that you look as flawless as possible. Right now my biggest obsession is with the simplehuman Sensor Mirror. Since I can no longer wax, I have to manually tweeze my ultra fine eyebrows, and this incredible mirror makes that arduous task a little easier!
Let's move on to beauty must-haves! These are some of the products I encourage you to try first because I love them so much. My favorite contour powder, the D&G Blush in Tan is already sold out, but you can still try amazing foundations like Armani's Luminous Silk or D&G's Powder Foundation (ideal for the upcoming hot summer months).
Here are some other new and popular makeup picks that are definitely worth your while! I've reviewed and mentioned most of these at one time or another. I'm interested in the new MUFE eyeshadow palette, so I included that and some other pretty goodies here for your viewing pleasure.
We can't forget skin care because that's the category I love most. I have old go-to products I used in college, which are more affordable, and some of my new favorite workhorses. It's a good mix of acne-fighting, brightening, and anti-aging skin care!
Now let's wrap up with a bit of nails, fragrance, hair, and accessories. My signature day scent, Tea Escape, is finally available at Sephora! It is such a soft and unique scent for day, especially during the Spring and Fall seasons. Don't forget to try the Butter London Hardware Top Coat. It's still the best in my collection, and yes, I use it on top of Louboutin polishes too!
Good Genes serum in my last post here, in case you missed it. I also stocked up on Koh Gen Do Cotton and decided to try the new Dior lip glosses. I chose two of the more natural shades in the range since I purchased several bright YSL Pop Water Glossy Stains recently. Next up for color is new blush from NARS. I am very excited to try on the gold highlighter! Last but not least are two Christian Louboutin nail polishes. I figured it was high time for me to add his signature red to my collection (even though I have more reds than would be considered reasonable) and finally crossed Pluminette off my wishlist. I adore the vibrancy of the color, the perfect bright pink for summer.
Let me know if you have any questions! The discount code is ROUGELOVE (which you can use as many times as your heart desires until the 21st). VIB members also get 15% off starting April 16th with code VIBLOVE while Beauty Insiders will receive 10% off starting the 17th using code BILOVE. Happy shopping xo
