I absolutely adore Wayne Goss makeup brushes. They are luxury tools, but well worth their price tags. The bristles are soft and plush with just enough resistance to use with any makeup medium. Wayne's quality surpasses even than of famed fude house Hakuhodo, so to celebrate the return of many of his brush offerings at Beautylish, I will be sharing my must-haves after the jump!

March 2015 Hits & Misses feat. Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent, Chanel, and more!
March has been a fabulous month on all counts! I'm steadily maintaing my weight of 105 pounds, hitting the gym 3x a week and eating as healthy as possible. I only eat red meat 2x a week or less and fill up on seafood and brown rice and zucchini noodles. I am truly enjoying the lifestyle change and am optimistic for my progress this year. Oftentimes, however, I find myself wishing for more hours in a day because my puppy Beau is growing up too fast. I posted more photos of him on Instagram, and he actually made a cameo in one of my videos earlier this month! I'm also creeping nearer and nearer to my 26th birthday, which feels nerve-racking yet exciting all at once. I was told time after time that the mid to late-twenties years would fly by, but I never anticipated how true that would be! Anyway, I hope you will enjoy discovering new products with this Hits & Misses episode because there are so many incredible releases to discuss.
Beautylish brought in the phenomenal Saikoho white goat Takumi brush series, and it may very well become my favorite collection for daily use. If you are a working professional in the beauty industry often, the Takumi series is a must-have! They're also ideal for those who travel a lot. I only reviewed my top 3 picks from the lineup, but I will work on a comprehensive blog review in the next couple weeks. Since the episode was getting a little too long, I had to cut out the MAC x Nordstrom Naturals Eyeshadow Palette (worn below), Shu Uemura Blanc Chroma Cleansing Oil and the Marc by Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème, but I will be sure to include the latter two in my April Haul video! Have fun but stay out of trouble on April Fool's! xo

Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm, Sheer Renewal Cream, and Clarifying Detox Mask Review
Colleen Rothschild is a fairly new brand in the skin care realm, but I have been using her 3-step regimen in the evenings with surprisingly great results. I like her fuss-free approach, and the simple packaging makes it far less intimidating to those who aren't yet prepared to tackle the layering of a dozen toners and serums. MAC Cosmetics Nordstrom Naturals 15-Pan Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
MAC Cosmetics recently launched the Eyes on MAC Collection featuring several pre-set, color coordinated eyeshadow palettes. Today I will share my thoughts on the limited edition, Nordstrom Naturals x 15 edition, which was specifically curated to spotlight Nordstrom's bestselling MAC eyeshadows! I was thrilled to see that this palette offers the perfect balance between matte and shimmery textures. I also find the Nordstrom Naturals palette the most versatile because of the wide variety of highlighter, transitional, and smoky colors. You can actually use some of the shades to fill in eyebrows or use them wet as eyeliner! All swatches and complete look after the jump xo

Get Ready With Me | Morning Skin Care Routine and Coral Makeup Look + GIVEAWAY
Today I'll be revealing my totally bare face (OMG) and showing you how my acne scars have been healing. I have been hesitant and planned to wait because I still suffer from patches of clogged pores and hormonal acne, but the cystic purging has stopped and my skin finally does look significantly better without makeup! I've been fairly diligent about using whitening products and hydrating serums to reduce the appearance of the scars, and I've realized that Shu Uemura's quality skin care is absolutely perfect for morning regimens. The products create a flawless and plump base for foundation. I'm in love! The most important news, however, is that Shu Uemura just launched a fabulous new exfoliating and whitening cleansing oil that I am obsessing over. Since I still receive many requests for it, I will share how to use a cleansing oil in the mornings for face washing (no double cleansing necessary). Also, you can WIN all the skin care and makeup products I used in this tutorial so don't miss out on this incredible opportunity!

HAUL | My Weight Loss + New Skin Care & Makeup
Haul videos are still some of my most popular, and they're the most fun for me to film! Win-win! Today, I added a personal touch with my weight loss journey. It has been a slow and steady journey, but with every passing week, I am closing in on my goals. Many of you have noticed and asked me to talk about how I did it!
I want to make it clear that this is a lifestyle overhaul, not just temporary cutting of the number I see on the scale (although it definitely feels nice to see it shrink). I officially gave up ice cream, which I have never done before, and I rarely ever eat fast food now. I avoid MSG like it's the plague, and I try to eat fresh whole foods like leafy greens and nutrient-dense carrots whenever possible. I went vegan at the end of December to start the purging stage, which was 10 days of torture, but now I have few cravings for red meat! I eat a lot of seafood these days. Pizza is still my weakness, but I have pretty successfully changed the way I eat and see food (particularly meat and carbs). You see, I am a stress eater. And I was very, very stressed for a while, meaning I was eating excessively large portions and in general, a lot of ramen and ice cream and Jack-in-the-Box at 1 AM. Of course I knew better, but I stopped caring after a while, even when none of my clothes fit.
Since eating cleaner, I have been sleeping better. I drink a ton of water and caffeine-free herbal tea so my skin also looks better. I am more productive and the best part is, I am finally exercising regularly again! I was in the best shape of my life 2 years ago, and I have truly missed sweating it out. I have a long way to go in terms of my ideal figure, but I am optimistic. I ran three miles today, which I physically had not been able to do a mere 3 months ago. I usually don't get this personal, but I just want others to know that LIFE HAPPENS! Poke fun at my double chin and acne scars, but that's life — the sad, depressing, ugly stages are all part of the process. We succeed, we fall, we crawl back up, we change, we move on and grow up! Have courage and be kind (new Cinderella movie reference), and I promise, good things will come xo

T3 Micro Twirl 360 Curling Iron Review + Tutorial
Most of you have probably heard at one point or another in the last several months how much I am loving T3 Micro hair tools. I was introduced to the 1.75" Bodywaver by my hair stylist Guy Tang last year, but since trimming off a good 4-5 inches, I have been loving the T3's new Twirl 360 Curling Iron! The fairly rare 1.25" sized barrel is perfect for those with short to medium-long hair, and the mid-length clamp is perfect for styling my bangs.
When my hair was extra long, the Bodywaver gave me beautiful round waves, but I now use it to create smooth volume and a bit of bounce. When I want curls — defined or loose, I rely on the Twirl 360. Finally, my curls come out even instead of kinked up, and it takes so little effort, thanks to the gyroscopic technology! The rotating barrel minimizes the risk of burning my scalp, face, and/or hands when I can hardly keep my eyes open in the mornings. Using the power/temperature button and all the subsequent clicking takes a bit of getting used to, and you might be surprised at how the subtlest wrist movement activates the motion sensor, but overall, the Twirl 360 is very user friendly and quite intuitive! It is a phenomenal tool with features that are unique and practical enough to warrant the price tag. I'm always happy with my results, and all the women who I show it to fall in love and run out to buy one.
P.S. I started the tutorial with my natural air-dryed hair, with only Kerastase heat protectant through the ends! The final look is untouched as well — no hair spray, no shine cream, no finishing oil. It's pretty incredible that my lightened hair looks glossier and healthier, even with the very low heat! In fact, on the day to day, I actually use heat setting #1 because I still can get two days' worth of curl life.

February 2015 Hits and Misses + My London A/W 2015 Fashion Week Photo Diary
The month of February has been one of the most tiring yet inspiring of my life! I discovered a blemish gel that actually works (OMG!), and I traveled to two cities for Fashion Week. It was brutally cold and a whole lot of hustlin' through sleep deprivation was involved, but it was truly a beauty blogger's dream come true! I attended several shows and captured some behind-the-scenes footage with Christian Louboutin Beauté at Cushnie et Ochs in NYC and now have these beautiful moments from Burberry A/W 2015 Backstage in London to reveal! It can be rather difficult to capture the intensity of the backstage atmosphere, but I hope you'll enjoy my February 2015 Hits & Misses and London Photo Diary!
