Drugstore Haul - L'Oreal, Maybelline, and Physician's Formula Video Details

There have been quite a few exciting drugstore make-up releases this Spring so I wanted to make sure I got around to covering them! And I know some of you dislike it when I cover drugstore products, but a lot of my viewers ask for drugstore hauls and reviews.. please understand that I'm just trying to accommodate everyone's requests as best as I can :)

Products Shown (All products are from CVS & the prices listed below are what I paid):
L'Oreal 24-Hour Infallible Eyeshadows in 890 Bronzed Taupe, 888 Iced Latte, 999 Eternal Black, $8.29 each

  3. OMG! thats a total rip for drugstore, at target/wal-mart way cheaper, but i do go to cvs because it is easier to find the colors i want.
by the way i was wondering what is a good setting powder for oily/ acne prone skin? from the either the department or drugstore

  4. S. - Those who watch my videos primarily for the designer/high-end coverage :)

    Yoannita - Glad you do!

Meledy - Yes, I heard Wal-Mart is much cheaper, but WM is so far out of the way for me. That's why I just go to CVS since there's one every mile in Southern CA, it feels! Guerlain Meteorites Pressed or Lancome Translucence Pressed are great for oily skin!

  6. Hi Rae! I noticed the ring you are wearing. It looks lovely! Is it the YSL arty ring? Thanks <3

  7. Love the nails! :) I might just pick that color up this weekend. I would love to see a review on Lancome Teint idole ultra foundations. I'm in the market for oil free foundation. I have acne scars and want a full coverage. Do you have any suggestions?

  8. I'm super interested in a review for the Hourglass Immaculate foundation. Also, are you going to do a review for the Koh Gen Do Aqua foundation? Thx.

  9. Let's be honest, most of us that love you love when you review designer collections because you are a honest person. You are not afraid to admit when a designer product is horrible, overprice or not worth it. There's nothing wrong with drug store reviews ( I enjoy them as much as the high-end) but for me I am always looking for the best opinion on youtube before I spend $62 on a Chanel quad or $22 on a Dior polish

  10. This might sound sacrilegious to the Chanel fans, but how does the Maybelline Tattoo in Pomegranate punk measure up to the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Ebloui (sp?)

I'm looking at purchasing a few of the high end eyeshadows- but I'm not really sure if I want Chanel Illusion D'Ombre or Armani Eyes to kill- I know that in reviews you've said the Illusion D'Ombre requires more layers to achieve color saturation, but are the Armani eyes to kill shadows like their cheaper drugstore sisters- where if you blend at all, you end up with sheer nothingness?

  11. Lauren - Yes :)

Hydroxity - It's a great foundation but not full coverage! Have you tried Try Laura Mercier Silk Cream for full coverage :)

    Jody - Coming soon!

Giovanny - Yes, thanks so much for supporting my endeavors!! What would I do without you? <3

Blysse - I was going to compare them in the video, but my Ebloui is MIA! I'm so pissed >:O They're not too similar. Ebloui is much more red-burgundy. Pomegrantage Punk is a little less warm, less glittery. Similar, but not quite a dupe! And no, the ETK are much more pigmented, longer lasting, and metallic in finish. Smooth and easy to apply with a finger. The Illusion D'Ombre shades are significantly more glittery!

  12. Hey Rae!
I see your testing out the hourglass foundation. I was just wondering if I'm an NC25-30 in MAC would the color your using (Ivory) in the immaculate foundation be okay for me? thanks!!
