MAC Spring 2012 Collections Vera, Cook/Shop, Tour de Fabulous Review + Tutorial Video Details

I know I said the Laura Mercier Review + Tutorial video would be the last of Spring 2012 collection coverage, but I got an overwhelming request for a MAC review. I wasn't interested enough in a single MAC collection to review it alone and to be frank, there are just too many MAC collections released each season for me to cover them all! That's why I came up with this collective review. I did lose a bit of the footage when transferring the files to my computer, but I hope you'll still find the quick tutorial at the end helpful. Tammy said the final look made me look like a Twilight vampire, one that only eats animals LOL I think it was the combination of the warm brown contacts and the coral-themed eye! Hope you enjoy :)

  1. You used Studio Fix Fluid in the video but you listed Studio Sculpt in the description above. :)

And gasp! I can't believed you used a non-Lancome Artliner liquid liner haha.

There's no need me to tell you that you always look great in every tutorial... but I'm going to anyways. You = fantastic.

  5. May sound a little creepy O.o
But I get all excited and bubbly every time you post up a new tutorial lol.

Anywho, Im not a fan of Mac so i dont care about it enough to put time into learning about it. But because you surprisingly did a tutorial using most Mac products &, as always, did a wonderful job with it...Im now having second thoughts lol.
I, too, break out from using Mac foundations so I wont even bother with that. But I think Im gonna go ahead and try the MAC Call Me Bubbles quad...its beautifullll! Along with some Edward Bess lip glosses that you recommend :)
Thanks so much for sharing Rae!

  6. I absolutely LOVE this look!!! Definitely my favorite of all your recent collection videos. All the colors complement one another very well and create a beautiful contrast against your dark black hair. The overall effect really does remind me of a "sunset"; sensual and glowy. Gorgeous!

That said, I follow a lot of beauty gurus, but your videos are always the most thorough and interesting to watch. Long and detailed, but never dull. The eloquent fervor in which you speak of your products is one that many gurus ought to admire. That, coupled with your professionalism and friendly disposition reveals how much you truly love what you do. I hope your skill and passion take you very far. :)

  7. Jess - When you swatch the shadows, they tend to be patchy! On the lids, though, they are perfectly fine :) And I love the Benefit liner.. it's my favorite product of the moment. I haven't tried the DollyWink liner but isn't it a felt tip? The Benefit has a brush tip!

Yerskii - LOL It's okay! I thank you for it! MAC is good for the price, great shade selection. It's just not the ideal brand for sensitive skin. I'll film a favorite MAC products, so you can see help decide what MAC products are right for you! The quad is definitely worth the splurge since it's limited edition, and you can't go wrong with EB glosses! Bare Rose is the most universally flattering, but try First Kiss if you want a wearable bright pink :)

Cathy - Thanks so much! Your comment really meant a lot to me because I put so much effort into my work. I know I may not be the easiest YTer to relate to, but I really do try my best to be as helpful as possible! Good luck to you in all your endeavors as well <3
