Kevyn Aucoin 'Iconic Eye' Look [Winged Eyeliner Tutorial]

Winged eyeliner is my signature makeup style, but I have not dedicated a tutorial to this effortless look in years, which is why today's feature is all about the classics.
I applied Tusk, a nude, on the lids and Rose Quartz, a shimmering rose gold, all over the crease. I've been obsessing over this Loose Shimmer ever since I ordered it from Nordstrom, so I will review the product later this week. I mixed a little bit of the Sculpting Powder, a cool brown, into the crease for definition. Bone, an ivory, was applied on the brow bone and blended in with Rose Quartz for a smooth transitional finish. I finished with one coat of the Volume Mascara and false eyelashes to amp up the look. This look is incredibly flattering but natural enough and appropriate for any occasion. I hope you enjoy the tutorial!

  2. Hi Rae! Your winged eyeliner always look so perfect :) I have a question unrelated to this post. I started to look back on some of your videos for favorite concealer, brow pencil, etc. Is your list of favorite powder foundation from your January 2013 video still your favorite as of today? If not, do you mind sharing your most up-to-date favorites? I see that you still love using the Becca powder foundation in Nude. I'm at a conflict because I really want to try it, but I've also heard that mineral foundation is bad for those with acne prone skin and can clog the pores. Would love to hear your input! :)
