Finally, the long awaited Koh Gen Do video review! I know some of you would have preferred a blog post for the Aqua Foundation, but I wanted to include the application demonstration. It's best to see foundations in action, gives everyone a better idea of how much the foundation can actually cover! The demo and the giveaway for my favorite KGD lipstick are at the end of the video, so if you're not interested in the review, just skip ahead! Hope you enjoy :)

Hey Rae :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the demo- question about the Hera HD #23- what MAC color scale would you say that it's equivalent to?
Blysse - You're very welcome! Hera HD in #23 is between NC20 and NC25 :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rae,
ReplyDeleteThank you so soooo much for reviewing this foundation and more. I've been waiting patiently, and I always appreciate everything you share. Is this light enough for a everyday foundation? BTW, you have amazinggggggg skin :)
Oh, and one more question. Do you damp water on the beauty blender when you use it? I'm thinking of purchasing it but never tried using sponges when I apply my foundation. I've always used brushes or my hands but it the beauty blender looks like it applies makeup flawlessly. Thank you again Rae :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rae. Thanks for the fantastic video!
ReplyDeleteI am Asian but I am very pale (about MAC NC15?). I usually use the lightest shades on every brands (but I do not have a lot of pink tone in my skin). I am wondering which shade should I use. I am afraid that the lightest shade in yellow or neutral undertone will be too dark for me (this happened when I was using the lightest shades in some of both Chanel and Dior foundations).
Lauren - Yes, the whole purpose of the Beauty Blender is to use it when slightly damp! The BB is awesome, definitely worth the money!
ReplyDeleteShiqi - OC-1 most likely may be a touch too dark for you. Try their Moisture foundation! :)
Lauren - I didn't see your first comment! Thank you :) And I do believe it is light enough for use as a daily foundation.. as long as you don't need a very long-lasting one (ideal for 6 hours days).
ReplyDeleteI wear 20 in the winter and 30 in the summer in Chanel. What color would I wear?
ReplyDeleteHi Rae,
ReplyDeleteI first heard about Koh Gen Do through your blog! I looked for it on Sephora right away :)
I'm most interested in the massage milk. It sounds like a treat for my skin! <3 Thanks for all your reviews!!
