FITNESS: My Daily Food Journal + Maintaining My Weight

Hello, everyone! I received many requests after my first clean eats cooking video to do a more basic, "ease-into-it" kind of clean eating video. I am no longer in weight-cutting or competition clean eating mode anymore, so this is a much more manageable regimen. I think you guys will find this one allows more flexibility since it is easy to follow and the food is still basic. I use the baking recipes I used in my last video, but I have added dairy and fruit back into the mix! Hope you find it helpful :)

The Makeup Show LA Photo Diary - Recap & Haul

Hello, everyone! I did not officially announce it, but I was generously granted a Press Pass to The Makeup Show in Los Angeles last Sunday, so I had the opportunity to stop by and snap these photos for you. I attended the Show several years ago with Elessa of Pursebuzz and had a wonderful time. There were plenty of workshops and seminars as usual, and many industry insiders were out and about during the Show. Last Sunday morning was truly enjoyable, as I much preferred the more intimate environment (in comparison to IMATS) as well as the new and unexpected presence of higher-end brands. I was most excited to photograph Hakuhodo brushes and check out brands like Jouer that are not as easily accessible in stores. 

Hakuhodo Displays -- My favorite collection by Hakuhodo below is the S series, look at the lovely orange lacquer! I will purchase a couple soon, since I know many of you are curious to see if these brushes are worthy of their price tags. Hakuhodo utilizes a lot of blue squirrel, my favorite natural hair for face brushes (incredibly soft). CLICK TO SEE MORE PHOTOS!

Tom Ford Lip Shine Color Review, Photos, Swatches

I received a selection of the new Tom Ford Lip Shine Colors earlier this week, and they have quickly become some of my favorite sheer lipsticks in my arsenal. This new range of 10 shades is semi-sheer in color coverage -- perfect for regular use or swipe-and-go occasions -- and boasts a lovely hydrating formula that contains Tom Ford's now signature Brazilian murumuru butter as well as new ingredients such as soja seed extract. The bullet mimics the style and shape of the 'big sister' Private Blend Lipsticks. I adore the Lip Shine's sleeker look, as the bullets settle more easily into my pockets, but I miss photographing the TF stamp on the blade of each lipstick.

The Lip Shine Color formula glides on just as comfortably as the Private Blend formula. There is indeed a higher shimmer content in the new shades, and they only last about 3 hours on my lips as opposed to the 6 hour wear I see with the majority of my Private Blend lipsticks. The Lip Shines, however, are the ideal lip product for those who eat or drink regularly and do not mind reapplying lip color. CLICK TO SEE SWATCHES!

Here is a quick(er) than usual Favorites episode! I wanted to include some lululemon pieces, but I figured I could save them for a Work Out Must-Haves video.. what do you think? So here you have mostly face and body favorites, which is a change up and a quick breather away from color cosmetics. I have been super acne-prone these days, which is why I have been changing up my skin care more often! I'm trying to find a new routine that works with the addition of hot yoga to my lifestyle, hope you can be patient while I sort things out :)
