TOP 10 | Best of Sephora ♡ Makeup, Skin, Hair

This video is dedicated to my must-have products from Sephora! I always look forward to de-stressing after a long day of overseeing construction and renovation with a fabulous beauty goodie these days, so I wanted to share what I have been loving most recently. I basically stick to the essentials since I'm always short on time. Sephora has been expanding and offering many more niche brands as well as exclusive products so here are the holy grail winners in my perspective!

Tom Ford Summer 2015 Soleil Collection Recap + Tutorial

Even though Tom Ford's Summer 2015 Soleil Collection was launched a few months ago, I created this video due to the large volume of requests! Many wanted to see the eye duo and blush in action, so I decided to showcase Naked Bronze and Pink Sand in this tutorial video. They're both limited edition and surprisingly enough, Naked Bronze made a comeback and is still available at Nordstrom, so order them before they're gone! I am so head over heels for the creme blush as well; even though I generally dread applying creme blushes, Tom Ford's new formula performs well on top of liquid foundations as well as powders. Check out my swatches of the entire collection here! Hope you enjoy the tutorial!

Dior Tie Dye Summer 2015 Makeup Collection Review + Nude Air Foundation Demo

I have recently fallen in love with Dior again. When Peter Phillips took his new post, many wondered whether he could recreate the magical work he had accomplished at Chanel. The Tie Dye collection shows a more playful take on make up that still feels haute couture, and that explains the rekindling of my love for Dior. In the video below, I will share my thoughts on the products I purchased. The collection as a whole is easy to wear. The textures are effortless to apply, and the shades coordinate well together in their respective pink and coral themes. Most of the shades are basics but redesigned and reimagined to make beauty the luxurious and exciting experience possible. The packaging, of course, is always impeccable.
In the tutorial section, I will share my bare face again! My skin is slowly but surely healing from the acne marks seen in my last Get Ready With Me, Morning Edition video. You can see some of the deeper redness and pigmentation through the Dior Nude Air Foundation, which I demonstrated how to apply. I love how it creates an airbrushed finish without the mess. You can pat some more of the foundation alone on areas you require more coverage. For all other Tie Dye makeup collection details, please refer to the video!

GET READY WITH ME | Polished 10 Minute Sping/Summer Makeup Tutorial

When short on time, I recommend focusing on airbrushed skin, full lashes, and a bold lip. Since spring and summer are the perfect seasons for glossy lips, I went with a vibrant pink-red. You can always try something more subdued like a garnet or matte raspberry if high shine isn't your style.

It's really easy to lose track of time and end up late when you're distracted by colorful glittery eyeshadows or perfectly carved brows, so I recommend picking 3 features to highlight. Even applying false lashes can be done on 10-minute mornings with the help of a magnifying mirror and a bit of practice! Keep things simple with 1 brush and use your clean fingertips for eyeshadow application. Plus, try curling your hair the night before to make your AM routine easier! Smooth sailing xo
P.S. The sun was setting (very quickly) while I was filming, so I do apologize for the dim light at the end of the video! Thanks for your understanding ♥

Spring 2015 Haul | Clothing, Tom Ford, MAC x Toledo, NARS Face + Eyes

This month has been such a whirlwind, and it's not even over! I was in NYC for Fashion Week for several days, so I will chronicle my adventures in a photo diary and share it tomorrow. I was not able to shop much while I was there, thanks to my hectic schedule and the icy wind, but here is a quick haul to tide you over in the meantime! I promise to wrap up that epic Japan haul (THREE, SUQQU, Addiction, and Ladurée) and post it as soon as I return from my next adventure. I am leaving sunny Southern California for cold weather one last time this season, and I'm so excited! Can you guess my next destination?

HAUL: Clothing, Hair, Skin, Chanel Holiday 2014 Makeup + New Jewelry

October has been a successful haul month! This episode has a little bit of everything from drugstore skin care to flattering fitness clothing to Chanel Holiday makeup, so I hope you'll appreciate the variety! I tried my best to incorporate only the best and most memorable from my loot. I also wore a couple of pieces from Anna Beck (see above), the new jewelry line I have fallen head over heels for! AB jewelry is beautiful, comfortable, and totally collectible. Rounding out this month's haul, however, is Chanel Holiday 2014 makeup which includes the elusive Reve d'Orient eyeshadow palette and the phenomenal new Rouge Allure Lip Glosses! Hope you enjoy xo

Chanel Fall 2014 États Poétiques Review, Photos, Swatches + Tutorial

Chanel releases its Fall collections earlier and earlier every year, it seems! The Ã‰tats Poétiques Collection, however, was a pleasant surprise and I'm so happy to share my thoughts with you today. I saw a few criticisms buzzing around the blogosphere, but I found that all the products I purchased apply beautifully.

The Innocence blush and Hesitation eyeshadow are perfect for everyday use, and the Songe and Rose Reve Glosimmer lip glosses are bound to please any pale pink lip addict. The sleeper that shook up this collection's game was the reformulated and re-released Ecriture de Chanel eyeliner! The performance undoubtedly bests the now discontinued Automnatic version, and the formula is no longer flaky. Well done, Chanel!

FYI: All the photos above were taken in natural lighting. My favorite products from États Poétiques are the Songe lip gloss and Ecriture eyeliner, but I also recommend Hesitation and Innocence to natural makeup lovers. And last but not least, all three nail polishes are worthy of the Chanel price tag, so of course you should try and splurge on at least one!
