HAUL | ULTA Beauty Goodies from Urban Decay, Laura Geller, and more!

I've been shopping at ULTA Beauty lately because there's one on my regular route to the gym, so I wanted to share my most recent haul goodies with you! I honestly find it easier to shop at Ulta because I don't have to walk into a mall, which is far less convenient than a freestanding store. Plus, I love wandering aimlessly through all the drugstore aisles to see new releases and mass market trends.

Since there was such a pretty display at the front of the store, I decided to get adventurous and try Urban Decay's newest All Nighter Liquid Foundation! Then I got distracted by the Vice Comfort Matte Lipstick in Backtalk and Vice Mega Matte Lipstick in 714 as well as the 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils in Rush and 714. At checkout, the cashier provided me with a sample pamphlet of 24 shades! I'm going to try them all and see if there are any other worth purchasing. For now, I can say that the comfort matte, mega matte, and cream formulas are the three out of five that I would splurge on. The metallized look really isn't my style, and I prefer other designer brands when it comes to sheer  and sheer shimmer lipsticks.

I stick to sheer and medium coverage these days because my skin has improved greatly, but I was curious to see how well this full coverage foundation would perform. The Vice lipsticks have rave reviews from bloggers and readers alike, so I picked up a nude and a red in the comfort matte and full matte textures. Most of you know by now that I prefer the ombré or gradient lip look, but lip liners do create the illusion of fuller lips. Again, I chose a nude and a red because those are a couple of the colors I reach for most often.

If you watched my YouTube videos in the past, you'll know that I loved Laura Gellar mineral powders while I was still in school. She makes somewhat underrated but high quality products with an excellent color selection, and the best part is that Ulta unexpectedly gave me a free gift without even having points saved up! The pouch, mini blush and double-sided brush are ideal for a handbag or travel kit. I decided to give her Double Take Baked Powder Foundation in Sand a try because I plan to use it as a subtle alternative to bronzer because the color is not orange at all and the hint of shimmer is quite flattering on the cheeks! In case you're looking for a reference, the match to my facial skin tone would be Golden Medium.

Now I generally stick to one brand of face wipes, but my friends and sister love the affordable Burt's Bees Grapefruit wipes post-gym. Since I love the scent but find them a touch drying for my skin type as they're intended for normal to oily skin, I decided to try the Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Towelettes. The peach fragrance is so uplifting and not too cloying or artificial, and the formula is much more suitable for my dry skin. They effectively remove my makeup — mostly tinted sunscreen and concealer — without causing redness or other irritation! I keep the wipes both on my nightstand and in my workout bag. Tip: they also remove deodorant marks on shirts.

Also, if you haven't heard about the new Ulta Beauty Ultamate Rewards Credit Card, which is tied to their super awesome Loyalty Program, take advantage now!
