May 2013 Favorites [Hits & Misses] for Base Makeup, Hair, Lips/Nails + Video Details

The month of May was filled with the best of beauty! There was finally a "miss" worth talking about, since after all it is from Chanel, and I knew the hard-core Chanel fanatics in my audience would appreciate this mention. I also rediscovered some of my old favorites, which is what tends to happen when you shop your stash. My routine has been very minimal, as I have had to ease up on the makeup since my skin has been so volatile (thank you, hormones). I have, however, seen progress in my skin's condition, so this means I will be back to wearing a complete face and testing more makeup for you full-time! Hope you enjoy these summer season appropriate Favorites xoxo

  1. I guess I missed the miss?
That sounds funny, was it the Chanel mascara that was so bad?
    Just curious.

    1. Judi - The Volume de Chanel was the miss! Any mascara that can't hold curl is a miss in my perspective :)

  4. ohmy.. This is funny.. I read about you posting a Chanel "miss" on youtube a few days ago on insta. I thought it would be about the CC cream, but it turns out its the mascara that I bought yesterday xD o boy.. but I love it... I only use it to thicken my eyelashes at the base, not to swipe along the whole eyelashes. In my opinion it is my new HG mascara for dramatic eyes ^^ (got it after trying the tester-sample)
