How to Achieve Straight Hair with Volume

I posted a poll of sorts on my Facebook several weeks ago, requesting hair tutorials you guys would like to see! Straight Hair with Volume seemed to be the winner, with the French Twist close behind, so I have for you an easy blow drying tutorial below. Hope you enjoy it :)
P.S. You can tease or backcomb the hair after brushing it smoothly once it is all dry. Use a holding hairspray like the Alterna one I showed to keep the hairs in place.. but I try to avoid backcombing as much as possible because it damages the hair :)

  1. Hey Rae,

I was wondering where you got the tasai cream because it looks like it's not on the shu uemura website and it's sold out on other sites. Let me know, thanks for the great tutorial!

  3. I cannot recommend a Sedu hair dryer. I spent over $200 on one a few years ago, and today, the cord split away from the body of the dryer exposing the wires, sparked and died. I did take advantage of the Folica offer and picked a more reasonably priced hair dryer (Solano) that was rated just as well for much less. Sorry, Sedu has lost my business.
