REVIEW | Best of Shiseido Serums #ShareBeauty

Even though beauty is my job, I enjoy shopping for makeup and skin care as gifts because I find them practical confidence boosters. Most of the women in my life, however, wear very little makeup so I've partnered with Shiseido for their #ShareBeauty campaign. I'll be reviewing the awesome serum duos I'm gifting my bestie, mother, and grandmother this holiday!

Let's start with the Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate because it is loved by women everywhere. Although most people tend to think that these boosters or serums in general are overrated and unnecessary, I've literally seen the positive benefits of layering through my grandmother. She is 80 and has truly beautiful skin, not a single injection of Botox or fillers her entire life. Because of her, I know that eternally soft and bouncy skin is possible for me too! I like Ultimune because it helps to soften my skin and prep it for any other treatments I layer on top. It really does improve firmess and resilience after four weeks of consistent use.

I've nagged my best friend Tammy for years to use toner and sunscreen for years, but now she is quite diligent with her daily routine. She has never layered serums before but I'm confident she will love the results and stay dedicated. I got her the Shiseido White Lucent Spot Corrector to layer on top of Ultimune because the combination should help her achieve a clearer and firmer complexion. This is all in preparation of her upcoming nupitals because yes, my bestie is getting married! The MicroTarget technology in the revamped White Lucent range is supposed to help diminish dark spots, so if you have old acne scarring that isn't textural, give this serum a try.

The Benefiance line is synonymous with my grandparents. I remember my grandfather telling me stories of how he would bring suitcases full of Shiseido back from his business trips to Japan. My grandmother was very spoiled when it came to skin care, and she's the one who informed all my early opinions of beauty so I gift her something from Shiseido every year. This Benefiance WrinkleResist 24 Energizing Essence is something new to the range, and it is formulated to hydrate deeply and and improve the look of wrinkles. My grandmother has really minimal lines considering her age, making dryness and lift are her main concerns. It's a very thin fluid serum so it should fit easily into her layering routine.

The Shiseido Future Solution LX Superior Radiance Serum is a luxe serum that I wanted to gift to my mother. As women age, our changing hormones levels can cause imbalances in our skin and result in spots and melasma, especially with pregnancies. My mom does not have sun spots since she is quite rigorous about sunscreen reapplication, but she does struggle with general discolorations and dullness. The FS Radiance Serum also has anti-aging properties so once layered with Ultimune, the combination targets all her skin care concerns. She doesn't like to layer more than a few products since she has thinner skin, but I think this serum duo will do her a whole lot of good!
