CELEBRATE | My YouTube 200K Giveaway ♡ Three Prize Packages feat. Dior, Guerlain, and more!

Some of you may have noticed that my YouTube channel reached over 200,000 subscribers recently! 4. My favorite video from you is your review of the Armani foundations (REVIEW: Armani Foundations [Luminous, Lasting, Maestro, Designer + More]). Out of all the foundations I love luminous silk the most. My perfect shade is 5.5 and I feel so lucky that I was able to find my shade, because two of my girlfriends unfortunately couldn't find theirs. I actually saw an older video of yours reviewing the luminous silk and that's when I first bought it. I tried maestro, but it was a little too drying for me. Thank you so much for all of your amazing reviews! I have so many amazing products in my collection now for clients and myself. ((Hugs))

  5. As much as I love your reviews, your "HAIR: Easy, Retro Romantic Curls Tutorial" has to be my favourite video! It was the first time I did curls properly for a girls night out and has been one of my go-to curl hair tutorials ever since because it's one of the few tutorials that I was capable of actually doing LOL. Keep up the videos and congrats lovely x

  10. My favorite video by far was "TRAVEL: London Vlog + Haul [Burberry, SUQQU, Chanel and more]" because 1, I love vlogs 2, I love your videos and the style you have for filming as well as your camera's quality 3, I love travel, specifically England (I'm working towards getting a visa for citizenship in the UK). It was the little clips in between of the sights of London that made it really enjoyable...like watching the travel channel haha :D

  12. Hi Rae! I love your HAUL: Epic Asia-Exclusive Beauty! Chanel, Dior, SK-II + more the most but I love all your Hauls and Reviews. You are very through and honest and that's what attracts me to your videos. I love that your hauls include mini reviews as they are extremely helpful as opposed to just showing items. Keep up the great work :D Congratulations on the milestone, there is much more coming your way. :D

  19. My favorite video is " Best lip products for dry and sensitive lips". I am a fan of lipsticks and lip balms, lip gloss. My lips are also very sensitive like yours. When I came across your video, I was super happy and went out buying YSL lip balm in #2 and #4. I love them so much, it also smells so good. Well I cant afford buying all of lip products that u mentioned in that video at once but I will slowly and surely try all of them. Thanks for such a great video. I also love " style fall 2014", I love the J-crew coat that u worn, very simple and classic. Keeping posting good beauty products, I love all your videos. Good luck. :)))

  20. I'm so happy for you! I've been following you for years but my FAVORITE video is "TUTORIAL: Monolid Make-up w/my TWIN [Chic & Casual]" because I had NO idea you were an identical twin... and I'M an Asian identical twin too. And it's so fun to see interaction between you and your sister as well as your differences. I feel like there are a lot of similarities between us and that video was even more shocking as far as our similarities go. :) I'm so happy that you keep on posting videos because we seriously have such similar tastes in makeup. You are my favorite guru because you have the same skin concerns, skin type (normal-dry), and skin color as me. And we're both Asian so it helps a lot to use your recommendations as a preference.

Please keep posting videos. I will always support you. :D Best of luck. I'm very happy for you and look up to you as a beauty guru. xx

  27. My favorite video of yours is TUTORIAL: Cheerful "Aegyo Sal" Eyes + Ombré Lips Korean-Inspired Makeup. I'm not Korean or Asian but I like their makeup techniques, products and trends. They look cute, glamorous, healthy, adorable and sexy at the same time! I also like your tutorial/review videos. Most youtubers would just use stuff that they bought or were sent in their tutorials without telling us what they really think of products. Some product might look great when first applied but won't last long or feel good. I admire your honesty!
    Happy Holidays!! xx

  31. My favorite video is your "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives" because skin care is one of the few things I will invest in for myself. I don't have perfect skin, and I really enjoy watching your thorough reviews because I believe that we have similar skin type/complexion. When you review something on your holy grail list, I usually go buy the product if I am running low on a certain product like cleansers or toners and I myself fall in love with it as well!

  49. Hi Rae! My favorite video of yours would be the Epic Asia -Exclusive. I find it extremely helpful that you demonstrated and recommended beauty and skincare products purchased over in Asia despite the fact that they are not readily available in the USA. More often than not I still think the beauty products in the US lack or do not fully blend well with Asian skin tones. Your videos are very insightful. I'm sure we all look forward to asking friends, family or just taking a long trip over to Asia and bring back many of the products you illustrated. Thanks! XconjacX

My favorite video of yours is "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives" because it was so detailed and included an extensive variety of products. My skin is both dry and very sensitive so there are few products that hydrate my skin and do not irritate it as well. Trying out some of the products that you mentioned allowed me to finally start building a skincare routine. I will be definitely adding a few of these products to my personal holy grail list~!

  74. I don't think I have ONE favorite because there are several that I have bookmarked over the years and re-watch time and time again, but one of my favorites is your Chanel Holiday 2013 Nuit Infinie Review. Even though it was a year ago, the tutorial is timeless and appropriate year-round. The products are Chanel and high-quality, but you add something special -- I love how you elevate neutrals and "simple" looks to something so classy and unique. Also, I'm a sucker for a subtle smokey eye + red lips!

  75. As your fan ever since you started uploading videos on youtube, it was so difficult to choose one favorite video. However, I decided that "Get Ready with Me: Valentine's Day Beauty" is my favorite of all! Valentine's day this year was the first date I had with my boyfriend. EVERYONE complimented on my make up (even my boyfriend who usually doesn't notice such things). I love every single one of your video. Whenever I want to purchase something, I make sure to check out your channel or blog to see if you liked the item too. All of your recommendations always work for me. Congratulations on 200K views Rae. You always inspire me<3<3

  76. Cool, a giveaway! I recently subscribed but have been following your videos for a while. My favourite video (it's hard to choose) has to be . I like your reviews in general because it helps me know what to look out for when I'm shopping for makeup/skincare products, but I really needed the review on dry sensitive lips I think. I have a bad habit of peeling my lips so they get dry very easily (Oops). After seeing your video I went ahead and purchased the sisley lip balm (at a discount online woohoo!) and it's really helped. I didn't know before your video that you could be sensitive to lip products, and I started to pay more attention to how my lips were before and after wearing lip makeup. Turns out some of them dry my lips! Ok that might have been a pretty "duh" thing to look out for but I was not aware of it before I watched your video. So thanks! Natalie

  79. I have many favorites from you but if I have to pick one it would be "HOLY GRAIL: My Top 10 Makeup Must-Have Products!". The reason it is that one is because five of products you introduced me to in that video have now become HG products for me and the rest I tried and really loved. This is the only video from the only content provider that has ever had that much "golden" information by far!
    Congrats on 200,000!

  80. Thanks for doing the giveaway and congrats on the milestone! My favorite video is REVIEW: Best Lip Products for Dry, Sensitive Lips. I have dry, sensitive lips as well and never thought to consider SPF as one of the irritants until your videos. I've tried some of your recommendations and they've been a hit so far! Very informative video.

  81. Congrats on reaching 200k subbies, you deserve it! My favorite video is "TUTORIAL: Easy Makeup for Interviews + Work." I'm 25 years old and I only started getting into makeup about a year ago. I work in a professional setting, so I was searching for some work-appropriate tutorials. I stumbled upon your video & I've been subscribed ever since :) I love that you're really into skincare and that a lot of your makeup looks are simple, but pretty. And your r(a)eviews are always so helpful! :p

  83. Congrats on reaching 200k subscribers! My favorite video is the one entitled "REVIEW: Best Lip Products for Dry, Sensitive Lips." I, too, suffer from lips that are constantly dry and peeling, so your suggestions for balms that have worked for you were really helpful. Through this video, I discovered the La Mer lip balm and Hourglass Lip Oil, which are now both staples in my routine (especially the La Mer balm!) and have made a huge difference to my lips!

  85. Hi Rae!! My favorit out of all your videos has to be the TUTORIAL: Shupette by Karl Largerfeld for Shu Uemura + REVIEW. Your look in this video was so cute and your introduction on this collection was really helpful in showing me what kind of looks can be created with colors in that palette! Before watching I contemplated whether I should get this collection or not because I thought the colors were not as wearable. Your tutorial and explanations really helped me to confirm my decision of buying the palette and trying out the colors! My friends actually praised my makeup when I wore the look, and they hardly notice what I have on!! Thanks for being such a great inspirations to girls like me! Look up to you so much!
    Lots of love, Sophia~

  88. My favorite video of yours is "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives." I have begun looking more into skincare as I am getting older, but my skin doesn't seem to be liking many products, as I have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin. Your video was very informative and gave me more than just one option to look at. I have sampled some of the products you recommended, and my skin has never felt so great! Your recommendations have saved my skin and I have become more confident in myself. I couldn't thank your video enough for this happiness!

  91. Hello, Congrats on making it to 200k! :) My favorite video wold be the 5 Minute Everyday Eye Makeup <3 Since I don't apply make-up more often since I worked on the construction site, simple make-up really help me in giving a change in my look for the days that I can go out with my friends or have a date with my boyfriend. My boyfriend is not a really a fan of heavy make-up so this tutorial help me realize that I can still put make-up as simple as possible. It's super easy and can be a everyday make-up look. :)

  94. Hi Rae!

I love all your skincare videos - daytime/night time skincare routine, skincare favorites etc.
My recent favorite is: Holy Grail: my skin care must haves review + affordable alternatives. I love that you talked about a bunch of high-end products, their pros and cons and what you specifically love about them. I also love that you talked about some alternatives towards the end, gives me more options!

I also like the fact that this one is long and gives a thorough review (weird? haha!) I know you normally don't do very long videos, but I really enjoy a detailed review! Thanks so much! Hope you get to do another one sometime in the future!

    Thanks!

  95. "REVIEW: Best of By Terry - Comprehensive Brand Review & GIVEAWAY!" is my favorite. It's because it is the FIRST VIDEO I watched form you! I subscribed immediately and binge watched all of the older videos as well. I am so happy to have found your blog and channel since it is very hard to find well thought out reviews and recommendations on the Internet.(even harder for ethnic skin) I started using a lot of SK2 and Cle de Peau. A lot of money, but my skin shows great improvements. I even started wearing foundation trusting your picks! (ByTerry and Sisley) I used to be a foundation hater after breaking out once. I am so thankful you are doing what you are doing!!!

My favourite video is the TREND Bright Lip Makeup Tutorial [How to wear Fuchsia Lipstick] because you demonstrated how to wear a bold lip colour without going over the top; it was in the style of your older videos where you showed your makeup application from beginning to end and you genuinely appeared happy and excited and the embodiment of fuchsia! :D

  102. Hi Rae!! Congrats on 200k :)

I love ALL your favorites videos because I learn so much from just listening to you talk! I get all my purchase ideas from you and I trust you with your reviews on products. Therefore my most recent favorite is the HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives video. Seriously when I saw that in my feed, I got so excited haha! I love how you went in depth and explained the pros and cons of each and just everything, even though it was a long video, I would rather listen and educate myself rather than watch 5 minutes of general blabber. You are the one who got me into skincare and even though I am only 20 but I do think prevention is key!
When you kept apologizing about the length of the video, I kept saying NO NO ITS OK ! KEEP TALKING! haha one day, I'll have perfect enunciation just like you :)

I would also like to add that I absolutely love your recent hair, I think its a great change and it looks super gorgeous on you and even though you colored it, it still looks super glossy and silky (must be the Kerastase haha)

And also Beau is such a handsome sweet boy, I love his appearances in your videos <3

    Thanks for everything! ❤

I really don't have that much time to get ready in the morning since I have to be in the hospital by 06:00AM, but I still want to look nice for my patients. I enjoyed watching your other videos but I rejoiced when you uploaded your 5 minute everyday eye makeup. Thanks to you,now I can look nice to clinical with an effortless look.

Your "REVIEW: My Favorite Concealers [Eyes & Face]" was the first video that I watched on your channel. That was my favorite and I became one of your subscribers after watched that. It was really hard for me to find a right concealer that suited my skin type, color as well as worth the money. I have been using the Bobbi Brown concealer which you suggested since then. Your suggestions are always thoughtful and straight forward. It like a life-saver for me when I'm in doubt buying a high-end product. I have been using the Shu Uemura oil cleanser as well after watch one of your video and I am totally in love with it. Wish your career path will always shine bright and inspire more people like me in the future ♥

  128. Hi! Congrats on your 200k subscribers and thanks so much for doing this giveaway :]
My favorite video of yours has to be the recent Holy Grail: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives because I really like that you give us the higher end option and the more affordable end option. I also really like that you give detailed reviews and do take in the fact for other skin types. I was trying to find a new cleanser and decided to give the TATCHA Camellia Cleansing Oil a try. Both my mom and I use it now because we just love how it feels on the skin and love that it does not dry out the skin even though winter is beginning to start.
All in all, thanks for all your videos and this giveaway. Thanks again and congrats~

Honestly, I couldn't even afford the makeup products you were reviewing and demonstrating, but I watched the entire thing just because I thought your eye look was so pretty. Before that video, I really hated blue eyeshadow because I thought they were tacky, but you pulled it off so well... that made me have a new perspective on different types of makeup looks and I wanted to try more fun and colorful looks too. Please keep on making videos and coming up with new looks, because I LOVE them! And of course, congrats on 200K subscribers--I know there's plenty more to come.

  132. Hi Rae! One of my favorite videos from you was "TUTORIAL: Easy Makeup for Interviews + Work" becuase I find it so applicable to my situation right now. I'm a college student slowly getting into recruiting and interviews and I've taken the advice from the tutorial almost every time I've had an interview. Of course I like to add my own variations, but you video has been really helpful. This time period of your videos is also when I absolutely loved your hair because it looked so full and polished. 136. My favourite video is actually one of your recent ones: HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylOIAAbg1eY&list=UUcjvSEs9T6EFsBYWuqLX6yg
    Why?
Because you mentioned some of my concerns and products that help with them:
    a. Skin color unevenness - you talked about skII aurabright that I'm now saving up for
    b. Going from combo skin to normal skin - I'm definitely going to work first on getting my skin tone even and healthy and then will give that 3lab a try despite its price tag :)
    c. You offered options for combo skin users - I went ahead and ordered from Sephora, I already had tried two of the products in that set and was a fan (truth serum and the Lancome lotion)
You did not just present your favourite products, you talked about them and why you like that which really helped pinpoint what I might be interested in.
And lastly... you suggested an eye mask that I can afford to use daily! I ordered 60 the same day because I do not find expensive eye masks useful. I can't afford to use them daily and they do not do enough for my very dark circles and puffiness (I work with computers and spend my free time on computers lol). But a daily eye mask that does a decent enough job? I was on that ASAP.

I watch your videos from time to time. I used to pay more attention when you'd review nail polishes because I'm a huge fan of quirky and high end polishes (my collection was precious enough to me I dragged it across the continent when I moved). But that review of your favourites really stuck home with me and I've been digging through your old videos to find things that I'm interested in just because I think we are a lot more on the same wavelength than I used to think.

I would love any of those prizes, I'm from Canada so do not qualify for #3 though! :)

Keep honest and you keep doing your thing... you offer a fresh perspective of honestly reviewing high end products. I'm personally a huge fan of the Dior Addict Lip Glow and Dior nail polishes :).

  139. Congrats Rae!! I remember when I first found your channel I thought your channel's name is so creative. Like is so representing you, you know what I mean? haha<3
Then I started watching your videos, most of the products I cant afford but I just keep watching and really enjoyed it. I really like all your monthly favorites, I think they are very detail and you really sharing it because you tried it and it's really good that's why you share with us.
Also I really LOVE all the shu uemura videos!!! You made me actually save up money to get the product. I watched other YouTube guru that work on the same project as you or creating a look with the same set of products, you always come up with the most beautiful and wearable looks.
I saw ppl talking about a beauty guru is talented or not, I think is very hard to define that, but after seeing your videos I really think that you are a very talented one!
I cant wait one day you will have your own makeup line!
If you ask me really need to choose one favorite video from you, it is the CELEBRATE | 200K Giveaway ♡ 3 Prize Packages feat. Dior, Guerlain, and more!
I am not saying that to try to win the giveaway , but starting at 9:11, I was really touched and like so happy for you. When you mentioned about those ugly comments and emails, I am glad that those ugly things didn't stop you.
I mean is hard to deal with things like that, but you just keep on going and keep making quality videos. And I can see that you really appreciate your subscribers supporting you and i don't know I just feel like I saw a different side of Rae in that couple minutes.
I don't think I can possibly win this giveaway(1/200k chance????) but again so happy for you and thank you so much for hosting this giveaway, cant wait to enter the next 300k 400k 500k subscribers giveaway! hahahaah<3

  140. Congratulations ~~~~~ I'm actually only a new subscriber (within a month)

I think my last comment didn't go through, :( but if it did, sorry if this is a repeat

I found you through your "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives" video and I was hooked. I believe that skin care is very important and I want to do some research before splurging on some. I had my eyes on SKII products and I was so lucky to come across you (who seems to have been using SKII for a long time and have quite some knowledge about it). You help me to decide on which one to buy, and I did not regret it. So thank you so much!!! muah muah muah :* I also love how you have the affordable alternative, because since I'm still a student, I can't splurge too much and sometimes, I just can't afford the good high end brands, but I gotta keep my skin good right, so I go for some affordable ones. It was just overall a really detailed and informative video (plus i read your blogpost which is....amazing) and i love your makeup, esp the eyes. Your skin now look really young and flawless, and I believed these products help with that. It's amazing to read your cystic acne blog post, and compare it to the skin you have now. Very very good improvement!! :D I love your blogs and reviews, so keep it up!!! Love you :D <3

  141. I love your skin care reviews in general because it helps me a lot to understand better about skin care but the "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives" video is my current very favorite one. I also suffer from cystic acne about two years ago and during that time I wasn't aware about skin care (I was kind of a tomboy girl, the most skin care I used were facial wash and some random moisturizer. Now that I care a lot about my skin care routine I am less tomboy I guess lol). The cystic acnes are gone, but now I'm still fighting the marks they left and that video helps a lot I don't know how to thank you for it. I love how you explain the steps and the products for each skin types thoroughly and include the more affordable alternatives because as a student, it kills me to buy a very high end skin care product.
Congratulatiosn for 200k subscribers by the way! :)

  145. Hi Rae, congratulations on 200K subscribers!! woot!! And thank you for this ammmmaazzing giveaway, you just made my day haha. Anyway, my favourite video of yours is "TUTORIAL: Bright-Eyed, Natural, 'Everyday' Makeup"; I personally love all your videos, but this one stood out to me the most. (I had this on favourite on youtube from the day you released it) Ever since I took interest in makeup, I've always looked for that perfect 'No makeup makeup look' on youtube, but couldn't find one that satisfied my taste. Even though this was a really simple tutorial, I just fell in love with it, it was exactly the makeup style I am looking for, and nothing else can beat it! I am still a beginner in makeup, (even though I practice, I'm not satisfied with my look!) and I am always trying to listen to every single word of tips on how to improve my makeup skills. To certain extent, many tutorials help, but I think the way you try to engage yourself to the audience to really provide the best advice, really won my heart! This tutorial had it all, classiness, and most importantly, making the audience understand how to find a style that suits you best, which is what I am looking for! I think that is one of the best qualities of you Rae, you try to connect with the audience to help us find what is best for us, by enhancing the qualities of the products, with honest and sincere opinions.Seriously! I want to buy everything you recommend because you make it sound so luring! Again, thank you for this giveaway, congratulations on 200K, and have an amazing holiday! :)

  146. My favourite video from you is STYLE: Summer LOOKBOOK 2014 | My Favorite Trends + Beau. The video itself was amazing! Really creative and clean. Just perfect. Diffrent than lookbooks from the other Youtubers! Love it!

  147. Definitely REVIEW: Best Lip Products for Dry, Sensitive Lips

I have similar lips and picked up La Mer on your recommendation before. But the Hourglass oil and omorovicza really changed my life. We, my lip life. I love wearing bold lips and these really allow me to use mattes and brights.

Thanks for all the work through the years.

  148. My favourite videos of yours in general are those where you speak about products that aren't readily available (or at all) in USA/North America - you are so knowledgeable about the products that you use in general, but it's so exciting to hear about something that we're not familiar with and that not everyone is talking about.

My favourite video is a relatively recent one "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives" - knowing that you try so many products, it was so great learning about your true holy grail products and even better that you offered some more affordable alternatives! I am more tempted than ever to try the SK-II clear lotion now : )

  149. Hi Rae, Congratulations on your 200k milestone! My favorite video has to be," STYLE: Summer LOOKBOOK 2014 | My favorite trends + Beau". I enjoy all your videos but love this video the most because the clothing and accessories featured in this video is what I would like to wear in summer and also this video featured Beau! He looks so happy to be with you and that brought a smile to my face. It is a beautiful relationship between you and Beau. Thank you so much for making amazing videos that make me feel more confident and to learn to take good care of my skin. I wish you are having an enjoyable holiday season ^_^

  150. Rae, congratulations on 200K! That is SO exciting and a major milestone for any blogger--you so deserve all of your hard-earned success in the blogosphere! My favorite video of yours is actually a recent one--it's titled, HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives. I watched it start to finish because I am OBSESSED (sorry if that's creepy!) with your skin. It always looks amazing, and even in the throes of your battle with cystic acne, you managed to make your skin look flawless. I totally relate to your approach to skincare because, like you, I believe that the best method of anti-aging is PREVENTATIVE. My mom coaxed me into the wide world of skincare at a very early age and I started wearing sunscreen religiously at 16. As a college sophomore now, some of my friends look at me funny for taking the extra step of wearing eye cream at night, but I know it's worth it. I'm sorry to be unable to afford most of your picks at this stage in my life, but I appreciate all of your research and commentary because I am the same way about skincare (and all of my makeup, truly)--I research everything in depth. I really trust your opinion on skincare because you try so many of the most high-end, cutting-edge products and it was great to hear from someone whose skin I envy what their top go-to products were. <3

  151. Hi Rae,

Congratulations on your 200 subscriber mike mark! I really enjoy watching your videos, you are so well-spoken and professional! I would have to say that one of my favorite videos of yours is the HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives; you provide great options for all skin types and even provide an alternative option for your viewers who may be on a budget. Your thoughtfulness toward your viewers and honesty really sets you apart from the other beauty gurus and your professionalism and eloquentness makes you so genuine. Congratulations again and I look forward to seeing you in more videos!

    Wishing you the best,

  153. One of the videos I really like is the "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives". What made me pick this up among your many wonderful reviews is the place that the SK-II products have among your must-haves and, very significantly, the list of affordable alternatives you've been so considerate to compile.

I like to watch for your swatches/reviews on youtube and your blog because you usually review things faster than other people, and I can get the limited edition items as soon as they are availible.
    Congrats on 200k!

  158. My favourite has to be your "REVIEW: Armani Foundations [Luminous, Lasting, Maestro, Designer + More]" video because your review led me to buy one of my first high-end makeup products, the Luminous Silk foundation! I would never have considered investing in a high-end foundation without your review, that foundation is literally the only one I use now. I love your videos! Congrats on 200K subscribers!

  161. Congrats on 200K! I love all of your videos, however my favourite one is the "HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives" video. 162. Hi Rae! Congrats on your 200k milestone! My favorite YouTube video of yours would be "HAUL: Epic Asia-Exclusive Beauty! Chanel, Dior, SK-II + more." Your haul was most definitely epic and so fun to watch. I especially enjoyed learning about Asia-exclusive items and I loved how you included both luxury and drugstore cosmetics. I found this video to be a great shopping guide for my travel to Hong Kong and your recommendations were helpful as usual. Congrats again!

  163. Hi Rae! Congrats on 200K - that's an awesome testament to your hard work and consistency. Good for you! I so appreciate your approach and honesty in the way you review products. That's what keeps me tuning in. I love a high end product but I don't like buying something only to not get value for the purchase. I think that's why my favorite videos are a tie between HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives and HOLY GRAIL: my top 10 makeup must-have products. Both videos are items that you discuss in detail and you let us know these are serious workhorse products. I love that - those are things I look for. Flavor of the month trends are fun, but getting the scoop on the really long term hard workers those are the best. That's why I trust your voice - you let us know what works and what doesn't.

Also Beau is getting so big! So cute as ever too :)

  164. My favorite video is the review on the top 5 foundations. I was looking for a new foundation, and I stumbled on your video. It's what made me subscribe to your channel! Your skin always looks so flawless and there's this really natural glow. I really appreciate your thorough reviews in all your videos. Love love love the products you review, because they're typically ones that I'm wondering if they are worth the investment. Thanks for making the time to make your videos!

  165. I have a lot of fave vids of yours but the most recent that came in handy for me was the "Armani Foundations [Luminous, Lasting, Maestro, Designer + More]" video. Armani was having their F&F sale and your reviews of each type of foundation was so thorough laying out pros and cons of each. It really helped me decide on a foundation to try without going to a store and i'm happy with my purchase!

  166. My favorite video has to be all of the hits and misses videos. I tend to have similar skin and face reactions to products as what you discribe so I always wait for a review by you to make my decision on what to buy especially acne care and lip products (spf kills my lips).

Am looking to order the Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil (I grew up using the Shu Uemura and am looking for a nice alternative), the Kate Somerville D-Scar Serum, and MAYBE the Clé de Peau Cleansing Gel if I get the chance!

Congrats on 200K! Love your reviews, really appreciate all the comprehensive info in all your videos!

  172. Its too hard to choose a favorite!!! Lol I love everyone of your videos! But if I had to choose I would choose the "Holy grail: skin care must haves review+ affordable alternatives". I really really love your opinions and plus I'm going through this terrible breakout of cystic acne as well so I really hope your advice on skin care will work on my skin as well. That 25 minutes was extremely informative and I really want to thank you for going through such detailed reviews because they are a massive help to me :) in fact all your videos help me especially in choosing foundations and so on. Can't say enough about how much I love you and your videos ♡♡! Keep up the amazing work and congrats on the 200k subbies!! xx

Congrats on the subbies Rae!

  174. Congratulations on reaching to 200K subscriber milestone, I'm looking forward to your continued success! :) While it's difficult to pick a sole video of yours I enjoy, one of my favorites would be the "TAG: Top 10 Products I Would Repurchase!" video back in 2012. This video was the first to get me interested in designer make-up and I haven't stopped purchasing ever since! My holy grail products consist of some of the items mentioned in the video such as the Shu Uemera lash curler (alike many other make-up junkies), the Giorgio Armani waterproof eyeliner (stays on my waterline forever!), and the Tom Ford Cognac Sable eye shadow quad (my go-to travel palette and works great with my skin tones, sucks that it's always out of stock!). This video introduced me to a new dimension of beauty products and all your video/blog/instagram posts have contributed as well, so thank you for your dedication and informative reviews! :)

  175. My fave video was your "TUTORIAL: Natural, "Everyday Chic" makeup and hair". It's super simple yet sophisticated. I really like how you gave a mini review of new products at the beginning. I also liked how you not only give tips and techniques but also explain the effect it has on your skin and makeup. As I was/am sort of new to makeup, your tutorial was very beneficial to me as I learnt new things and it helped me achieve my own everyday look. CONGRATS ON 200K subscribers :)

  177. My favorite video is REVIEW: Top 5 Foundations [Full Coverage, HD, Matte, Sheer, Radiant] because I am a foundation addict girl. Foundation is a my must-have, and I have most in my makeup collection. Besides, I only wear high-end foundations. So, your review is really helpful for me, and help me to find out what foundations are good for my skin. Thanks so much for that.

  178. I like watching your tutorial videos because you show how the product will apply rather than just a swatch on camera. I also like watching your hits& misses videos, they provide very insightful information on higher end products which I am more likely to invest in for skin care. :)

  179. Congratulations, Rae! My favorite video(s) would definitely be anything involving skin care. Your descriptions and reviews are so thorough and articulate. I appreciate all the hard work you put into making the quality of your videos superb.

  180. Wow, Rae! Such an amazing giveaway… Thank you for doing this, it is very generous of you. You are so beautiful and I love your style! Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into your videos! I enjoy watching your videos not only because I get to learn new things from them, but also because I appreciate the great quality: good swatches, great lighting, good focus on the products. My favourite video from you would have to be the “ TUTORIAL: My Easy Eyebrow Routine + Top 5 Brow Products “ I like it because it took like 5 minutes to create a neat, tidy look which is exactly what I need. For me, eyebrows are such an important feature and just a slight change in brow shape can change the whole look. I just usually do my eyebrows and I’m good to go. Haha... I always use The Face Shop Lovely ME-EX Design My Eyebrow in 01 Grey Brown and Etude House Drawing Eye Brow in #5 Grey. They are super affordable! You should give them a try. I also recommend Etude House Perfect Brow Kit. Congrats on reaching 200K! I wish you more subbies! You definitely deserve more! (I’m sure there will be lots more to come ;) Happy holidays! ❄❄❄❄❄

I love the makeup videos too, but sadly can't afford most of them, so I do enjoy them vicariously through you :) Most recently, my favorite video of yours is Holy Grail: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives. Generally though, I like your professionalism and how you are informative and get straight to the point without too much drama :) Oh, and lastly, if you ever need something to read that is in no way beauty related, do give my blog a visit! xoxo

  183. Congrats on the 200K followers! And thank you so much for this awesome giveaway! One of my favorite videos from you has to be the "REVIEW: Armani Foundations [Luminous, Lasting, Maestro, Designer + More]." I've always wanted to try out Armani foundations but there are just so many and I don't know where to start. Your video helped me choose the right one that fits my skin type and tone. It saved me from splurging on Maestro when you mentioned that it can accentuates dry patches (which I do have quite a lot)! Looking forward to more amazing videos from you <3

  185. Rae, I loved your "HOLY GRAIL: Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives" video. Similar to your fight with cystic acne in these past 12ish months, I began to have a random breakout of cystic acne my sophomore year of college. Now as a senior, I feel like the worst of the breakout has subsided with changing my diet (restricting gluten, dairy, and soy) and going to the dermatologist. However, I still feel like my face is unpresentable most days because of the scars that are left behind. I have deep pit scars and red-purple-brown scars all over my cheeks. It's really difficult because every morning I put on makeup to hide most of them, but I still feel like everyone can see all my scars and that they only see me for a "dirty" face. Your thorough and informative video was really encouraging to see especially because I thought my only option at this point was to get laser treatment. I'm researching more on the holy grail products you mentioned, and I may forego the expensive and costly laser treatments to invest in some high-quality skin care.
Thank you, Rae, so much for being you and having the courage to share about your story. I know that I appreciate it incredibly, and I'm sure other fellow sufferers of acne and post-acne also feel encouraged by watching your videos.
    -Erika

  186. Actually there are 2 videos that keep me coming back to watch over and over again. But if i have to choose one i think my most fave video from you is the "HG: My Top 5 Favorite Liquid Foundations"

Reason is so obvious, i love it because you are the most informative beauty youtuber and blogger that i followed (youtube, instagram and blog) ;) I had difficulties in looking for foundation and stumbled on that video in youtube, and subscribed right after watching the video. And the other video that i love is the 101 eyeliner :D (it's kinda hard to choose between those two! LOL)

  188. Congratulations for the 200K! I feel so happy for you and thank you so much for the giveaway! I think you're amazingly thoughtful and caring for your viewers, always giving tips and helpful reviews; and of course all these wonderful gifts you're giving a chance for us to win. Thanks for warning about the youtube spam, I'll be sure to be careful. To be honest, I like watching a lot of your videos but I'm going to choose this recent one HOLY GRAIL: My Skin Care Must-Haves Review + Affordable Alternatives. I like this video because I find it very informative and there's a wide range of products that you've reviewed for us. As a girl who's just starting makeup and using skincare, I think it's very helpful that you mentioned the price range of the products and tell us how it works on certain types of skin. Since you personally use them I find your reviews a lot more reliable than most. Your description on how they work on your skin was also very amusing so I didn't feel bored at all watching it even though it was a pretty long video. I enjoyed it quite a lot actually. And since they're all luxury products, I thought it was also nice of you to include affordable alternatives that you like. I love how you introduce us to all the things that you like and think which works the best. It's all very new to me and it interests me a lot. Makes me feel happy and wanting to try all of them! And also, when you hold some of the products up, it looks verryyyyy appealing because some of the packaging has bright colours and they stood out from your calm background (the red SK-II stem power just grabs my attention!). I really like that for some reason. Haha. Thanks once again for doing this giveaway and again, congratulations! You did a really good job and I hope you will continue to grow more and more. You have my support! Lots of love <3

You saved me from impulse buys and buyer's remorse for sure! Thank you and Happy Christmas!

I have typical straight asian hair so your tutorial works perfect for me!!!! I also started to use Aussie hair products that you introduced in the video. It is so far the best and cheapest shampoo and conditioner I've tried. I like it even better than lots of expensive salon lines. Thanks for sharing these great beauty tips!

  196. Hi Rae! Congrats on reaching 200k subscribers! My favorite video of yours is "Holy Grail: my skin care must-haves review + affordable alternatives." As someone who has battled acne issues and am not trying to really take care of my skin, I really appreciate the effort you put into researching skin care products and finding the best of the best in the market. You always give your honest opinion about which high end products are worth the hype and which are not. You product reviews are always so thorough, which is awesome because it helps me to pick the best products for my skin type before I make the monetary investment in a product.

  197. Congratulations! My favorite is "Holy Grail: My Skin Care Must Haves". I have been battling cystic acne with dry patches now and it has been a nightmare.
