REVIEW | Clinique Cleanser Haul + Bonus With Purchase

Many of you have already started shopping for Christmas, so I wanted to share that Clinique is offering a sweet seven-piece Bonus With Purchase (worth $70) with your $27 purchase at Nordstrom. Use one of the following promo codes NEUTRAL, IVORY, VANILLA, and GOLDEN to select your foundation stick color at checkout and the set will appear in your cart. It's perfectly timed for the holidays since you can gift it to someone!

If you spend $70 online, you can also receive a full-size Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula as an extra bonus making the combined gift total $125. In store, I received an additional goodie bag with a wider variety of products like an eyeshadow palette. Even though I was short of the $70 price point, my Nordstrom sales associate was kind enough to give it to me anyway since I was doing the rest of my holiday beauty shopping with her!

My BFF Tammy told me she was running low on face wash so I took it upon myself to find a new one for her to try. I value her opinion because she always provides with me with valuable feedback since she has a keen consumer mindset. Even though she's most critical when it comes to hair care, she knows when skin care is worth the money. She plans to keep this cleanser in the shower, so I wanted to get her something with pump packaging.

She has normal to dry skin, but she rarely applies skin care immediately after hopping out of the shower. Clinique's Cleansing Foam for Very Dry to Dry Combination Skin was the most logical choice for that reason. It doesn't leave any uncomfortable film or oily residue like some foam cleansers. I tried it and it makes my skin feel fresh yet comfortable so for $20, it was a great buy for a morning cleanser. It isn't intended to remove makeup but it really is extra gentle and free of fragrance!

Since I have been looking for a new morning cleanser I decided upon the Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser. I keep my all-time favorite Foreo Awakening Yogurt Cleanser in the shower (also in pump packaging), so I was looking for another to keep on my sink. I figured I would take advantage of this gift with purchase timing to try something new! My face gets flushed and red easily particularly in the morning and this cleanser formula contains contains probiotics, which is why I wanted to try this soothing cream-gel.

For $23, you get a generous 5 ounces and it is 100% fragrance free for those curious. I lightly massage a dime sized amount onto my face with wet fingertips and rinse with lukewarm water. I haven't used it to remove makeup yet, but it washes away all my skincare and build up of oils from the night before with ease. I can see why women with mild rosacea rely on this cleanser! It preserves my skin's moisture balance without causing irritation.

I absolutely love Koh Gen Do's Cleansing Water Cloths because they are thick and plush and oil-free so I have been dedicated to them for years, but they are quite pricey. I, however, received a sample packet of the Clinique Take The Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes a couple months ago and decided I wanted to try them again. Based on the performance of the five that I did try, I couldn't resist the $14 price tag for a whopping 50 wipes. I find they work well for dry skin!

The cotton is much thinner than I am accustomed to so I ended up using an extra sheet to completely remove my red lipstick and waterproof mascara. They actually reminds me most of Shiseido's Pureness Cleansing Sheets, but the Clinique formula feels less drying which is ideal for my skin type. Ultimately, I think the affordability of the Clinique Take The Day Off Wipes makes them a worthwhile purchase! They aren't my favorite, but I would buy them again out of convenience because I really like makeup removal in wipe form.

If you don't necessarily care for wipes but need an all-star cleanser, try Clinique's Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. The counter at Nordstrom has a cute little display featuring this purple-themed makeup removal collection currently, but the balm is definitely the best. It's extremely gentle with a short ingredients list and melts away a whole made up face including waterproof foundation. It's a solid alternative to cleansing oil and is used like old school cold cream. I've purchased it multiple times for my younger sister and she can't live without it!!
