Burberry Womenswear AW16 Runway Make-up Look

London Fashion Week is in full swing, and Burberry's Womenswear February 2016 make-up look truly dazzled. The playful look was inspired by the sequin embroidery and bright colors of the collection.

A new addition to the Burberry make-up range was also seen on the runway. The limited edition Shimmer Dust, a holographic gold and silver glitter for the face and body, will be available in later in August this year.

The AW16 beauty look featured dark and metallic eyes with glitter applied to the outer corners of the eyes and along the tops of the cheekbones for a subtle shine. It is such a flirty and flattering way to create a jewel-encrusted effect! The skin was flawless yet illuminated, intended to balance out the heavier eyes. The lips were kept dewy and nude. Burberry Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe called the look, "...eclectic. A mix of earthy opulence and nude individuality."

THE BEAUTY LOOK IN NUMBERS
Makeup Brushed Used: 320
Makeup Artists Worked Backstage: 23
Pumps of Fresh Glow BB Cream used: 138
Glitter Flecks Used Backstage: 3,000
Minutes Spent on Each Model: 15

P.S. The AW16 Nail Polishes  a classic trio of silver glitter, gold glitter, and ruby glitter –  are actually available to order now if you'd like a set! I love how fine the flecks are. You can apply these three as a top coat to add a flash of glitter, but I prefer to wear them alone. It looks quite understated and feminine that way.
