Armani Fall 2012 Makeup Collection + Maestro Foundation Review Video Details

Finally, the time to review Armani's Fall 2012 makeup is here! It has been a long process of waiting for the new Maestro 'Fusion' foundation to be shipped to me, but it was totally worth it.. so worth it that I bought a second bottle. Now I can match my skin regardless of how fair I get in the winter or how tan I get in the winter! I can use rich hydrating creams under it, and it doesn't accentuate pores. What's not to love? The review is long because I don't get around to reviewing Armani products much. I wanted to be thorough, even more so than usual ;) Just keep in mind the tutorial starts at 10:29. Feel free to skip the review if you're just interested in seeing how the foundation applies!

  1. Hey Rae! I was kind of surprised by this video - I thought you would spend a little more time discussing the Maestro foundation. Although it is recommended to apply with fingers, some people have been applying it brushes and i'd love to hear what you think. Also, the GA SAs I've spoken to feel that this is best suited for a more "mature" skin. It is truly like nothing else I've tried and I love it, but although the color adapts, I've found it strangely difficult to get a good match. I do love your videos and reviews!

  3. Since this foundation isn't very nice to flakies, which new 2012 foundation would you recommend that would still give the 2nd skin effect for someone who has combo skin? (I tried this at Nordstrom and saw noticeable flakies.) I've heard of Estee Lauder Invisible and Givenchy Matissime foundation. Thanks!
