I love face products. I do believe most of you know that already, as I rarely use up an eyeshadow palette or even a lipstick. On the other hand, I am constantly picking up new powders and hitting pan and/or using them up entirely quite often! My skin has changed over the years, but I still remember which products have consistently worked well for me. I hope this gives you a better idea of which products I consistently reach for and repurchase! I highly recommend all of the below.. which one should you try next? It all depends on your preferences.. Loose Powders are to set your liquid foundations so they are the sheerest, Pressed Powders are great for touch-ups, and Powder Foundations have the most versatility!

what do you think about nars or kanebo?
ReplyDeleteI like the NARS powder foundation, it's finely milled and lighter in coverage like the Becca! I haven't repurchased, though. And I have yet to try Kanebo!
DeleteI agree with you, the MAC powders did make me feel like my pores were clogged. Definitely want to try the Becca powder after watching this, since I would like to have a more sheer powder on hand. The Guerlain Meteorites are always hanging out in my bag, it is my go to tough up powder.
ReplyDeleteYes, the Becca doesn't clog my pores at all! ^^
DeleteRae, your makeup looks awesome in this video. I wish Suqqu was easier to get in the states.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! I wish it were as well.. I'd be able to talk about/review the products more!
DeleteHi Rae! I've been noticing that you've been wearing the Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer more recently and I was wondering what your thoughts were on it. Obviously you're somewhat fond of it since you are using it, but how strongly does the shimmer translate and do you prefer it over Hoola? Thanks so much for your wonderful videos! I always get super excited when I see one of your videos pop up on my feed :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Tarte bronzer, and it is completely matte. It is less orange than Hoola and less powdery, so yes, I prefer the Tarte!
DeleteDolce & Gabbana powder foundation is definitely on my to-try list ever since you posted your first video on D&G products =D as much as I love liquid foundations I cannot live without powder foundations <3 <3 btw Rae did you know Sephora carries Dolce & Gabbana now?? Not sure if this information is any use to you since you purchase from Saks... but you can easily hit free shipping with any Dolce purchase on Sephora =P
ReplyDeleteHi Rae, there's no Dolce & Gabbana makeup where I am but I wld really love to try the power foundation. Any advice on the shade for a NW25? Am torned between "Creamy" and "Classic", based on makeup alley's reviews. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteis becca the best mineral foundation you have used?
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the chanel loose powder? If you have, what are your thoughts on the product? Do you think its better than the bobbi brown loose powder?
ReplyDeleteHi which do you recommend? This ysl matt radiant pressed powder or chanel Chanel Mat Lumiere extreme?
ReplyDeleteHi Rae! I have one question. My skin type is combination. Which powder is good for me? And foundation too?
ReplyDeletehi what is the best brush for the meteorites loose powder?
