Saks Fifth Avenue has restocked the elusive My Lady Glowing Blush! There are two shades available, Coral and Pink, but I only purchased the pink since red tones — like in the Coral version — tend to accentuate my skin imperfections and acne scars. This Cannage Edition blush is inspired by Dior's iconic Lady Dior handbags and is a Saks exclusive here in the United States. Shu Uemura & Takashi Murakami Holiday 2013 Heart-Full Pink Parallel Palette Review + Makeup Tutorial

Shu Uemura's Holiday 2013 collaboration with famed artist Takashi Murakami is too adorable for words. The magical graphics make for truly collectible makeup products, and the theme of Black Princess vs. Pink Princess explores duality in the most feminine way possible.

The collection is quite large, but the Heart-Full Pink Parallel Palette for Eyes and Lips is definitely the star of the show from what I have tried. I've been playing with it for two weeks now, and it still pleasantly surprises me because it is so much lovelier and more wearable than I expected. The perfectly curated colors and phenomenal textures — as well as limited edition status — convinced me to splurge on the Enchanted Black Parallel Eyes and Cheeks Palette. I ordered it this weekend, so it should arrive sometime next week (and yes, I will share the swatches). For now, let's marvel at the beauty of the darling pink palette!

Luminous Skin and Fresh Color for Spring 2013 Makeup Tutorial Details

I mixed things up a bit with this Spring makeup tutorial. First of all, I used short but dense lashes. That hasn't happened in ages because I am dedicated to BIG false lashes! Then I decided on a dolly blush effect with juicy pink lips and of course, a clean canvas of luminous skin. As much as I love the matte and bronzed skin look, I find that the luminous skin look is more appropriate for Spring weather. The eyes contributed to the fresh element of the makeup up with a warm, but light, range of shades from the latest Chanel Hong Kong Collection. We hope you enjoy the look and the photos!
