The Dior Bird of Paradise collection for Summer 2013 recently arrived at all Dior counters in the United States. The Nail Lacquer Duo in Samba 001 was the first to catch my eye, naturally, and it is the only item from the Dior collection I have purchased thus far. I passed on the Bahia duo as it is more in line with the permanent range of Dior polishes. Just as with my Chanel Azure nail polish review, this post will be just as much a feature of this nail polish duo as it will be a comparison of the shades. There are similar colors on the market currently, so many of you have asked me if splurging on this duo was worth it. See my thoughts after the jump!

Butter London Knackered Nail Polish Review, Photos, Swatches
Knackered is one of Butter LONDON's Spring 2012 polishes. It is the most unique BL polish I own, and while it took me a few weeks to appreciate the duochrome effect, I officially recommend Knackered. It was quite a challenge to properly capture all the facets of the color, but nonetheless, I hope you find the photos helpful!

Chanel Laque Brilliante Extrème Review, Photos, Topcoat Comparisons
I mentioned my favorite nail basics in my nail polish collection video before, but I took the video down, so I figured it was high time to break down for you my favorite top coats. Most recently, I have been using Chanel's Laque Brilliante Extrème due to Sabrina's recommendation, and it is one of the best top coats I have ever used. Is it worth the $25 price tag? Find out after the jump!

Butter London Blagger Review, Photos, Swatches
There are few Butter London polishes that I think are worthy of the $14 price tag but Blagger has captured my heart. I had been looking for an opaque, bright blue cream that wouldn't darken against my currently medium skin tone yet all the similar colors I had tried previously from other brands were shimmers, not creams. When I saw Ingrid tweeting about it, however, I knew I had to try it!
Blagger is perfect in two coats, and unlike some of my other BL polishes, it doesn't chip! There was some minor tip wear but that's normal. I didn't use a base coat and only added BL's Hardwear topcoat in the photos seen here in this post. I love how rich and vivid the blue hue is, don't you?
Bottom Line: I love it and it's one of my Top 3 Butter London nail polishes!
P.S. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed the BL Holiday colors yet. Soon, I promise!
