The Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena is one of the most beautiful hotels in all of Southern California, heralded for its history and beautiful architecture. Kassia and I were fortunate enough to shoot my Fall Lookbook there, so I am super excited to finally share our collaboration with you! Fall is my favorite fashion season, even though it still feels like summer here in Los Angeles due to the heat wave. The jackets, the layers, the boots... We are back with another style lookbook, and this one was full of adventure! I climbed on rocks, dipped my toes in the water, and nearly froze towards the end! I wanted to showcase four outfits that incorporated trendy fashion pieces and colors for the summer season, so I started with ladylike and moved on to polished, rounding out with girly and casual. Look book videos are always huge undertakings and big projects for me, no matter how simple they may appear to be. I give major props to fashion bloggers because it is harder than it looks! The older I get, the less I dress up. I can be found in Lululemon pants and Wildfox Baggy Beach Jumper sweaters most days, meaning that changing five times in one day is an astonishing feat for me. Hello, everyone! Today we are back with a new haul video, full of Spring fashion and beauty finds! Each product is linked below for your shopping convenience. I wore the Lancome Spring '13 look in the video, and you can find the makeup details HEREin case you were interested in learning more about the bright eyeliners.
It was so nice to have help with photos for once, since fashion photos are really difficult to shoot on my own, and the lovely little lady Kristine helped me touch up my makeup as we shot the looks! I put the looks together, so I hope you enjoyed seeing a trendier side to my wardrobe since I'm more often than not dressed in lululemon athletica work out wear these days!
And as promised, here are the Sneak Peek photos for Tom Ford Summer '13. I will have the rest of the images and other details for the rest of the collection posted on Monday! Isn't the look on the model below simply gorgeous? I love how bronzed yet refined it is. I've had a lot of fun with Lancome Spring Color, so the golds and pinks here are looking quite palatable, especially because I prefer low maintenance makeup in the summer!
Above is Tom Ford's Cream Color for Eyes in Escapade. I am so happy to see TF has decided to bring this formula back! I wish they woud make a permanent range of these beautiful cream shadows because they are so incredibly easy to use. I constantly reach for last Spring's Platinum, but I've barely made a dent.
