YSL Candy Face Spring 2012 Tutorial + Review Video Details

YSL's Spring Candy Face collection is definitely one of the most unique. It's pastel, glitter, translucent.. very candy-esque! YSL didn't focus on either green or orange or pink like most of the Spring collections we have seen and instead, chose to offer a variety of all the shades that are reminiscent of the season. This makes for a fun shopping experience for the consumer, so many versatile products! There is something here for everyone :)

The Ombres 5 Lumieres Palette in 13 for YSL's Spring 2012 Candy Face Collection, $56, is breathtaking. It brings out the little girl in me! I purchased it as soon as my local YSL counter received the shipment, even before the testers arrived. The cotton candy color scheme might seem juvenile to some but this eyeshadow palette is surprisingly wearable and it is a great alternative to the various greens that have overrun this season's eyeshadow palettes. Doesn't it remind you of Easter eggs?

YSL recently released a new lip product called the Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain, $32 each, and let's just say I'm in love. I ordered two of the shades from Sephora.com, sticking with my go-to lip colors of coral and pink. I planned to write this post earlier, but I wanted to make sure both of my selections were worth recommending. Guerlain Spring 2012 Collection Review + Tutorial Video Details

The Pinks and the Blacks is the best collection that Guerlain has released in recent memory. I carefully select my Guerlain pieces, but as you can see, I have amassed quite a few of the Spring pieces because I loved them so much! This collection has a lot of variety. As usual, I skipped the pink eyeshadow quad and the pink eyeshadow quint since I rarely ever wear pinks on my eyes, but I tried to add as much variety as possible to my selections.
