Burberry Womenswear AW16 Runway Make-up Look

London Fashion Week is in full swing, and Burberry's Womenswear February 2016 make-up look truly dazzled. The playful look was inspired by the sequin embroidery and bright colors of the collection.

A new addition to the Burberry make-up range was also seen on the runway. The limited edition Shimmer Dust, a holographic gold and silver glitter for the face and body, will be available in later in August this year.

The AW16 beauty look featured dark and metallic eyes with glitter applied to the outer corners of the eyes and along the tops of the cheekbones for a subtle shine. It is such a flirty and flattering way to create a jewel-encrusted effect! The skin was flawless yet illuminated, intended to balance out the heavier eyes. The lips were kept dewy and nude. Burberry Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe called the look, "...eclectic. A mix of earthy opulence and nude individuality."

THE BEAUTY LOOK IN NUMBERS
Makeup Brushed Used: 320
Makeup Artists Worked Backstage: 23
Pumps of Fresh Glow BB Cream used: 138
Glitter Flecks Used Backstage: 3,000
Minutes Spent on Each Model: 15

P.S. The AW16 Nail Polishes  a classic trio of silver glitter, gold glitter, and ruby glitter –  are actually available to order now if you'd like a set! I love how fine the flecks are. You can apply these three as a top coat to add a flash of glitter, but I prefer to wear them alone. It looks quite understated and feminine that way.

Burberry just released the hottest new eyeshadow product called the Eye Colour Contour, and it comes in my favorite form — a retractable pen! These are not your standard range of shades, since they are intended for smoking and sculpting the eyes with precision and ease. I love the mix of brightening neutrals and sultry browns. Equitance Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36 Review, Photos, Promotion

Southern California weather has been unpredictable, but one thing is still certain sunscreen is still the most important step in our beauty routine. With every year as we age, the pile of anti-aging creams and potions on our countertops becomes a mountain but sunscreen is the most crucial product in wrinkle prevention.

I have lots of sunscreens that I rotate through, but the Equitance Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36 is one of my favorites because of the formula. It provides just enough moisture for my dehydrated skin, but it never makes me look oily or greasy at the end of the day. It's a great product for those who like to multi-task and cut down on morning routine time since Equitance's sunscreen is a 3-in-1 SPF, brightener, and makeup primer.

A lot of my readers and subscribers tell me they have tried so many heavy sunscreens that end up clogging pores. This Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36 has a matte finish so even those with oily and combination skin types can feel confident wearing it under foundation. Plus, Equitance's key brightening ingredient, Linoleic acid, is also formulated into the sunscreen so you get the benefits of skin care as well as skin protection.

Equitance is offering a Valentine's Day sale! Get 14% off the entire site (excluding two gift sets) plus a free full-size bottle of the Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36. The promotion will end on Sunday, 2/14 so use code RAEV14 to take advantage of this deal while you still can!
