October 2014 Beauty Favorites [Hits & Misses] feat. Cle de Peau, Burberry, Chantecaille, LORAC, and more!

October has proven to be a tough skin month due to hormonal imbalances, but I have discovered a couple new Holy Grail makeup products! I am so excited to reveal my favorite new mascara as well as the brow pencil I've been loving. I also share a potential candidate for best eyeliner pen, too! Furthermore, I've discovered a gentle but effective skin care duo that helps to calm my temperamental, blemished skin while reducing the chance of scarring. And in case you forgot that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I included my pink GLAMGLOW mask to remind you + a nifty 30% OFF promo code to encourage you to support the cause by shopping your way toward better skin!

Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Collection with Reviews, Photos, Swatches

Charlotte Tilbury is my favorite new beauty launch this year! Her makeup beats Gucci's by a long shot (first impressions review here), so I apologize for not being able to share this compilation sooner. I was waiting on some additional products to arrive and figured it was worth the wait to share as many shade variations as possible. Check out the individual product reviews and swatches after the jump!

Shupette by Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura Holiday 2014 Review, Photos, Swatches + GIVEAWAY

I have been a fan of Shu Uemura since my aunt introduced me to the eyelash curler and lipsticks nearly a decade ago. The Shupette by Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura collection, however, is going down in the books as one of the most fashionable and memorable. Most of you know I am a new fur momma to Beau (who is always trying to lick my face), but I lived with my best friend and her two cats Crystal and Tucker for many years. So as an ode to the Shupette collection and my love for both pooches and kitties, Beau and I posed for an "opposites attract" themed photo!

HAUL: Clothing, Hair, Skin, Chanel Holiday 2014 Makeup + New Jewelry

October has been a successful haul month! This episode has a little bit of everything from drugstore skin care to flattering fitness clothing to Chanel Holiday makeup, so I hope you'll appreciate the variety! I tried my best to incorporate only the best and most memorable from my loot. I also wore a couple of pieces from Anna Beck (see above), the new jewelry line I have fallen head over heels for! AB jewelry is beautiful, comfortable, and totally collectible. Rounding out this month's haul, however, is Chanel Holiday 2014 makeup which includes the elusive Reve d'Orient eyeshadow palette and the phenomenal new Rouge Allure Lip Glosses! Hope you enjoy xo

Armani Si Eau de Parfum Review, Photos

As the year transitions into Fall, my choices in fragrances have also evolved. I've been loving the fruitchouli trend, namely with the Armani Si Eau de Parfum. I generally gravitate toward the same scent profiles, but I love Si despite that it is a departure from what I tend to wear. Si is positively distinctive and memorable. More details after the jump!

Fall 2014 Lookbook feat. Rails LA, Rag + Bone, Burberry, J.Crew, Theory, and more!

Photos by Kassia Phoy
The Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena is one of the most beautiful hotels in all of Southern California, heralded for its history and beautiful architecture. Kassia and I were fortunate enough to shoot my Fall Lookbook there, so I am super excited to finally share our collaboration with you! Fall is my favorite fashion season, even though it still feels like summer here in Los Angeles due to the heat wave. The jackets, the layers, the boots... I love it all, so I did my best to incorporate new trends and classic staples! Video + outfit details after the jump xo

REVIEW: Diptyque Home + Personal Fragrances Collection (Candles, Ovals, Spray, EDT, EDP, Roll-On, Solid Perfume + Accessories)

I love Diptyque. I love the aesthetic, the branding, and the products themselves. So a few years after my first Diptyque splurge, I have amassed quite a collection. Now, I normally shy away from home and lifestyle content, but I figured it was time to open up and share how I make my home more cozy. Home Fragrances are split into candles, room sprays, and scent ovals, so we will tackle one category at a time after the jump. I will also share my Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Solid Perfrume, and Roll-On personal fragrances, so make sure to read on if you're interested!

EYES | Rock-Inspired Makeup Tutorial [Black and Purple Liner with Nude Lips]

Rimmel recently launched a brand new mascara called ScandalEyes Rockin' Curves, so I created a rock-inspired tutorial to celebrate its release! I love old rock songs, especially those by Tom Petty, so I used the music video from "Free Fallin'" to inspire my look. The heavily rimmed, bold eyeliner look has always been near and dear to my heart, so I chose raw, sharp lines with a hint of color to achieve that quintessentially effortless, rock-chic look.  Instead of mirroring the mauve nude lip trend right out of 1989, however, I went with a more modern route and chose a creamy, peach-beige nude to balance out the purple lower lash line. Please enjoy the video, and have fun tweaking the look to suit your own features! xo

Products Used:
Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sun Bronze
Rimmel Glam'Eyes Trio Eyeshadow in 730 Spices
Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Pencils in 262 Black + 213 Nude
Rimmel ScandalEyes Rockin' Curves Mascara
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight

Earrings:
House of Harlow Sunburst Studs

Nails:

Shirt:
Lululemon

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Rimmel London Rockin’ Curves through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post and create a video about Rimmel London, all opinions are my own."

UPDATE: Top 5 Foundations Review + More Recommendations by Skin Type

It has been over a year since my last Top 5 Foundations Review, so I figured it was time for an update! I received plenty of requests in the past couple months, but I held off on filming until I had tested as many Fall 2014 foundations releases as possible. The five foundations featured in this episode are all ideal options for normal to dry skin, as that is my current skin situation, but combination skin types that enjoy a luminous complexion should try them as well. Please refer to the individual reviews and additional recommendations by each skin type after the jump!

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipsticks in Coven and Hellbent Review, Photos

Kat Von D has released a revamped lineup of pigment-packed lipsticks, so I'll be sharing two of the thirty available colors today! The Studded Kiss packaging is functional yet memorable. The raised edges of the 'studs' prevent the lipsticks from rolling off vanity tables, and they also have a lightweight but distinctly textured feel that makes the bullet easy to recognize when blindly digging through a crammed makeup bag. Check out the review after the jump!

Urban Decay has evolved so much as a brand.
